Even if you doubted the crossover back in 2017, there’s no denying how well Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle managed to blend its two inspirations. More than just Mario with a gun or Rabbid XCOM, it was the mix of character and sensibilities that gave the game its charm and paved the way for an upcoming sequel. We’re looking forward to that, but in celebration of the first game’s 4th birthday a special image was shared with one diva in particular taking the cake.
4 years ago, Mario and his team joined forces with the mischievous Rabbids… willingly. 😉 It's been such a fun journey, and we're excited to continue it with you all! 💖 #MarioRabbids pic.twitter.com/H72glFpw5E

Yes, Rabbid Peach has seen fit to acost the king of baked goods from both Mario and his Rabbid doppelganger. I mean, she is the star of the game if you really think about it, being the only member of the original squad to carry over to the Donkey Kong Adventure DLC. She may have some competition on the way though, as Rabbid Rosalina has already made an impression with her can’t-do attitude.
As someone who enjoyed nearly every bit of the first game, I’m more than happy to join in the happy birthday wishes and to keep counting the months until Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope arrives sometime in 2022.
