During Gamescom Opening Night Live, not one but two Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania trailers debuted. After days of teasing from Geoff Keighley, we finally know who the next guest for the game is and it’s one that’s definitely here to steal your heart.

Persona 5’s Morgana, a member of the Phantom Thieves who is definitely not a cat, will be trading his bus form for a clear sphere as a playable character!

This Treasure lover is the first Atlus character to cross over into Banana Mania’s growing cast of Sega guests, though it’s hardly the first time he’s ventured into other games. With cameos in Catherine: Full Body and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate already under his belt, this marks a notable solo outing for Mona.

Differing from the other guests even further, Morgana is also the first paid DLC character for the game. He’ll be available for $4.99 beginning November 2nd no matter which system you’re playing Banana Mania on. He’ll be playable in all Main Game modes, and as has been the case with other non-monkeys will change all bananas into something a little more fitting – in this case, chests!

If you’re here for more Monkey Ball, you’ll be happy to know that the other trailer debuted today was all about the dozen Party Games that’ll be included in Banana Mania. Here you’ll only be able to play as the six core cast members – AiAi, MeeMee, Baby, GonGon, YanYan, and Doctor. The world must not be ready for Kiryu to win a round of Monkey Target…

Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania will roll onto the Switch and more starting October 5th. Haven’t seen your Sega favorite in this 20th Anniversary bash yet? Be on the lookout for even more reveals in the near future!
