Let the bloodshed begin, because No More Heroes 3 is nearly upon us! Though it’s only in that long awaited sequel that we can enter the Garden of Insanity, a little bit of that otaku-assassin style is cutting into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate this weekend as well. It may not be with a fighter, but yes, No More Heroes spirits are on the way.

Following up from his previous appearance as a Mii Fighter costume, Travis Touchdown is making another Smash Bros. appearance on the Spirit Board. He’ll be joined by the alien holding the #1 spot in the Galactic Superhero Rankings, FU, who stands as the greatest threat their game has to offer. Rounding out this trio is a version of Full Armor Travis, a special mode introduced in NMH3 to suit its cosmic scale.
The No More Heroes 3 Spirit Board event will begin on August 27th, the same day as the game’s launch, and will run through the weekend for five days total.
