As Eidos Montreal and Square Enix close in on the launch of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy in just a little over two months, the developers have begun releasing several insight videos into the game’s development. In a new video showcasing another look at the main cast, Eidos Montreal’s Art Director Bruno Gauthier-Leblanc breaks down the designs behind each of the game’s main Guardians.

As can be seen in the video above, Gauthier-Leblanc manages to explain a little bit about how Star-Lord, Drax, Gamora, Rocket, and Groot’s designs came to be for the game. From Star-Lord’s band-inspired costume and Space Invaders jacket patch to Drax’s tattoos that actually will have a backstory, the game aims to dabble into the comics, films, and original ideas for inspiration.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy releases on Tuesday, October 26th. The Nintendo Switch release of the game will be a cloud version. When more Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy news makes the rounds we’ll be sure to let you all know!
