Tetris 99 is about to stack higher than it ever has before! The 23rd Tetris Maximus Cup is piercing through the clouds to bring a theme inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD. Check out the game’s latest theme, complete with rupee Tetriminos and some familiar sounds and music:
The use of Ballad of the Goddess and especially the puzzle solved jingle for Tetrises is perfect. If you’ve been sleeping on earning these themes or just haven’t loaded up the puzzle royale in some time, you won’t want to miss this one. Tetris 99’s Skyward Sword HD event will begin on Friday, August 6th and will run through the weekend. Be sure to gather up those 100 points before the end of Monday, August 9th!
