NISA fans may be grinding through the outlandish netherworlds of Disgaea 6, but come early 2022 things will be a bit more somber. The company has announced their plans to release The Cruel King and the Great Hero next year, debuting a trailer that sets the stage for this grim fantasy.
Cruel King has much in common with its predecessor, The Liar a Princess and the Blind Prince, when its comes to visuals and its storybook presentation. In it you’ll meet the young but determined (and cute) hero-in-the-making named Yuu as well as the fearsome beast by her side – The Cruel King. In time the draconic monarch’s past will be unfurled, and their friendship may never be the same.
