It’s nearly time for Link to take wing once again in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD. The Wii release is back with several improvements, both visually and a whole host of quality of life fixes. What hasn’t changed is its story, one that remains strong even when stacked against the whole Zelda series.

That strength comes from the relationship between these versions of Link and Zelda, the colorful world they explore both above and below the clouds, and just how many ways it sets the stage for the rest of The Legend of Zelda series.

Of course, that could just be nostalgia talking. Find out for yourself how well this one holds up by picking up Skyward Sword HD when it releases this Friday, July 16th.
