Last September, indie game studio WayForward announced that it was working on a brand new RWBY game alongside Arc System Works and Rooster Teeth. Other than a possible 2021 release across multiple consoles, we don’t know much about the title. That’s about to change as we’ll know more this month thanks to Rooster Teeth’s RTX at Home 2021 event. With the event’s schedule released, WayForward made the following announcement on Twitter:

Checking out the RTX at Home 2021 site, the main RWBY panel will take place on Friday, July 9th at 10 a.m. PT | 1 p.m. ET. Its panel description on the RTX Event site is the following:

Join the cast and crew of RWBY for exclusive sneak peeks at Volume 9 and first looks at products from the expanding RWBY universe! Writers and directors Kerry Shawcross, Eddy Rivas, and Miles Luna are accompanied by Supervising Producer Laura Yates and lead voice actresses Lindsay Jones (Ruby Rose), Kara Eberle (Weiss Schnee), Arryn Zech (Blake Belladonna), and Barbara Dunkelman (Yang Xiao Long).

As for the RWBY Beyond panel, it’ll be on Monday, July 12th at 11 a.m. PT | 2 p.m. ET. Here we’ll definitely see more information about the game, as it is mentioned in the panel description:

Join us for an exciting, jam-packed panel full of news about upcoming RWBY partnerships and products, including our upcoming video game from WayForward, the next book from Scholastic, new toys/collectibles, and more fun surprises! You won’t want to miss all the amazing reveals we have in store for fans both new and old!

Panels can be watched for free via Rooster Teeth’s RTTV as well as their Living Room apps on Roku, Android TV, Xbox, Apple TV, Fire TV, and Rooster Teeth’s mobile apps. While we don’t know for certain if this new RWBY game will make it to Switch, we did see RWBY: Grimm Eclipse – Definitive Edition grace our Nintendo Switch libraries earlier this year.
