Monster Hunter Stories 2 was already going to be giving content to Monster Hunter Rise via its save data, but that won’t be the only game getting some monstie action. Along with all the Kazuya related announcements, it’s been revealed that by having Stories 2 data on your Switch you can gain access to a Razewing Ratha spirit in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

This is the same treatment Persona 5 Strikers and Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection received earlier this year, and stands in contrast to Rise getting a dedicated Spirit Board event instead. Whether there’ll be more Stories 2 riding into Smash or just its main duo, it’s still a nice little bonus for those picking up the imminent RPG.
