Due to E3 and other summertime gaming showcases a whole lot of people in the industry have been laser focused and all kinds of busy. That includes Masahiro Sakurai, who debuted Kazuya Mishima as the next Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fighter and who is likely overseeing the editing of next week’s presentation on the Tekken guest character.

That doesn’t mean he didn’t have a whole lot of anniversary and celebratory screenshots saved up though! We’ve rounded up a dozen from the last week and a half or so, ranging from series with fighters, items, and even hardware features. When he isn’t writing for Nintendo Wire, Ricky’s anticipating the next Kirby, Fire Emblem, or if the stars ever align, Mother 3 to be released. Till then he’ll have the warm comfort of Super Smash Bros. to keep him going.
