The leaks continue for the Lego Super Mario series! First, the Lego Luigi set slipped through the cracks on Amazon China back in April, and now it’s time for another leak courtesy of Amazon Australia. Behold one of the many expansion sets coming to the series this year – Bowser’s Airship.
The listing on Amazon is clearly a placeholder that accidentally went live, as the item’s title is “tbd-Leaf-12 2021″ and the description contains fascinating tidbits like “Confidential 1, Confidential 2, Confidential 3, Confidential 4, [and] Confidential 5″. Thankfully, the “Technical Details” panel is filled with actual details of the set. Bowser’s Airship is one hefty set and will contain 1,152 pieces! That’s definitely a fun building adventure for Mario and Luigi (and for you and a Player 2, 3, 4, or more).
Expect to see the official announcement for Bowser’s Airship and more Lego Super Mario sets soon! Lego is hosting its own digital event, LEGO CON, on Saturday, June 26th, and promises to show off “a closer look at the latest sets” of the Super Mario line. With Luigi launching on Sunday, August 1st, don’t be too surprised if Bowser’s Airship descends from the skies on the same day.
