The Tribeca Film Festival has included video games into its lineup over the years, but it’s taking on new heights in 2021. Starting with the very first Tribeca Games Award, the eight games selected for this showcase appeared in today’s Tribeca Games Spotlight. Hosted by the official YouTube channel for Summer Game Fest (and The Game Awards), one title that we know is coming to Switch made an appearance – Lost in Random.
Initially announced last year during EA Play Live, details about Lost in Random have been, well, random. Concept art has been shared on Zoink Games’ Instagram account, but Lost in Random hasn’t appeared in any big video game announcement streams since. That changed today when it Klaus Lyngeled (CEO of Zoink) and Olov Redmalm (Creative Director and Lead Writer of Lost in Random) gave us a behind the scenes look of the game. We even have more info about Lost in Random’s story! In the world of Random, Even has set out to save her sister Odd from a mad queen. Somewhere along the way, Even befriends Dicey, a “living dice with incredible powers”, and the two pair up on this gothic fairy tale adventure.
Lost in Random will test our RNG again and again when it comes to the Nintendo Switch in 2021.
