Initially teased as the Palmtree Project last year, the interactive series donned a new name at The Game Awards 2020 – We Are OFK. Aimed at following the band OFK and their journey in Los Angeles, they also performed their first single “Follow/Unfollow”. Now six months later, they return for Summer Game Fest Kickoff Live!’s pre-show, performing a slower rendition of “Follow/Unfollow”.
You can hear more of OFK this Saturday during Wholesome Games’ The Wholesome Direct where they’ll drop the game’s OST and story reveal trailer. Then, on Tuesday, June 15th, the creators behind the game will host a Q&A on OFK’s Twitch channel. OFK’s single “Follow/Unfollow” is also available to stream on a variety of platforms.
Currently, We Are OFK hasn’t been announced for Nintendo Switch, but that doesn’t stop me from hoping they’ll “follow” onto the system at a later date.
