Another month, another million.

Monster Hunter Rise has just gotten a big boost courtesy of its 3.0 content update, but that’s not the only thing about the game that’s grown. Capcom has shared that the (at present) Switch exclusive has now sold over 7 million copies. Based on known data, this now ranks it as the 15th best selling game for the system and close to Capcom’s own top five all time best sellers.

To mark this latest milestone, another Commemorative Item Pack has been released. The Kamura Pack 3: Big Hit Celebration is waiting for all hunters at Senri the Mailman’s post, offering the following:

  • Mega Potion x 30
  • Well-done Steak x 20
  • Large Barrel Bomb x 10
  • Mega Demondrug x 5
  • Mega Armorskin x 5

Those aren’t the only things waiting for you there, though, as both a new Event Quest and the game’s first Challenge Quest have been added. By facing off with a Somnacanth in the “I Can’t Do What Somnacan” quest, you’ll be able to earn the Blowing a Kiss gesture for those moments where you want to show your hunting partner a little extra appreciation.

As for Challenge Quests, these will throw you into the arena with pre-set gear loadouts and task you with slaying monsters in record time. For the inaugural and aptly named “Challenge Quest 01”, it’s poor Tetranadon that’s the unlucky quarry.

All these new downloads are available now, so be sure to get them for yourself as you grind your Hunter Rank and work on those Crimson Glow Valstrax hunts!
