It’s the year 2021, and you can preorder a Sega Genesis game very soon! Limited Run Games will be publishing a special physical Genesis version of Mega Man: The Wily Wars, meaning this will be the first time the game has found a physical release in North America!
Mega Man: The Wily Wars is an updated compilation of the first three Mega Man games from the NES. While the game found its way to Japan and Europe, it was only released on the short-lived Sega Channel service in North America. Now, Limited Run Games will be letting collectors add this gem to their retro game collection.
The package comes with a blue cartridge containing the game, complete with updates to the game to enhance performance, a double-sided cartridge sleeve, a full color instruction manual, interchangeable lenticular cards, a sticker book, a double-sided poster, collector cards, and a certificate of authenticity.
The whole package will cost $69.99, and will be available for pre-order from Friday, May 21 at, 10 a.m. ET to Sunday, June 20th, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Be sure to act quick on this genuinely cool collector’s item!
