Well here is an unexpected surprise! Nintendo has just announced an absolutely BEAUTIFUL Princess Zelda and Loftwing amiibo is coming alongside The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword on July 16th!
Tapping the amiibo when you’re on the surface allows Link to instantly teleport to the skies atop his trusty Loftwing. Tapping the amiibo again in the air allows Link to teleport back to the same spot on the surface where you first used the amiibo.
No word yet on pre-orders, but stay tuned!
