Famicom Detective Club is nearly ready to leave Nintendo’s vault, coming back into the world as a new remake and localized for the first time. A new trailer has been shared that dives into the plots of both upcoming releases, The Missing Heir and The Girl Who Stands Behind.

In Famicom Detective Club: The Missing Heir, you’ll unravel a mystery concerning the death of a chairwoman while also dealing with your own uncertainties. Namely, amnesia. There are plenty of people and places to investigate, and perhaps even supernatural twists, on your search for the truth.

Speaking of supernatural, Famicom Detective Club: The Girl Who Stands Behind delves into a different kind of mystery. A schoolgirl has been murdered, but can this be tied to a ghostly rumor? It’s up to you to piece the truth together. Even though The Girl Who Stands Behind was the second Famicom Detective Club game released, it’s actually a prequel to The Missing Heir and will introduce you to the recurring character Ayumi Tachibana.

Both Famicom Detective Club stories will be available beginning Friday, May 14th on the Nintendo eShop. Purchasing one will allow you to get the other at a $10 discount, letting you experience both of these pieces of Nintendo history.
