The Warriors games are always chockful of characters and Samurai Warriors 5 is no different. To celebrate four more characters being confirmed earlier today as part of a Japanese livestream, Koei Tecmo has released a new trailer showcasing the impressive cast. Check it out below:

A noteworthy newcomer is Yasuke, the historical “African Samurai” who served as Oda Nobunaga’s retainer and who will be getting his own Netflix anime later this month. Alongside him we also have the famous ninja Hattori Hanzō, kusarigama expert Sandayū Momochi, and the mercenary Magoichi Saika. It’s also been confirmed that you’ll be able to play as the adult versions of the central characters Nobunaga and Akechi.

Samurai Warriors 5 launches in North America on July 27th, 2021.
