We recently learned of the return of E3 for 2021, with a list of participating companies for the event’s digital format. Now another has spoken up on their involvement, that being none other than Square Enix.

As reported by Gematsu, Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda confirmed the company’s E3 presence to Nikkei specifically in terms of announcements to be made. This comes on the heels of NieR Replicant ver.122474487139… releasing later this week and Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade’s launch in June. Neither are available for Switch, unfortunately.

Whatever Square Enix has in store, we should know of it once E3 begins, running from June 12th to June 15th. The full list of companies confirmed to have some presence are the following:

  • Nintendo
  • Xbox
  • Capcom
  • Konami
  • Ubisoft
  • Take-Two Interactive
  • Warner Bros. Games
  • Koch Media
  • Square Enix
