It’s been just over two weeks since Monster Hunter Rise released on Switch, and the hunt shows no signs of stopping. Previously we reported that 4 million copies of the game had shipped, but per a new release from Capcom they’ve revised that number to “…exceeding 5 million units one week since release.”

Other than the updated figure there was no new information, though with positive word of mouth continuing to spread and free content updates planned as soon as this month, Rise isn’t about to slow down.

If you haven’t yet, give our own Monster Hunter Rise review a read to see how it sets a new handheld standard for the series.
