Summer Games Done Quick will be back again with some scorching speedruns from July 4th-11th, and will be another online-only event “in order to ensure the continued safety of our attendees, runners, volunteers, and staff.”

For those looking to participate in the charity speedrunning event, you can present your game submissions via the Games Done Quick website starting now until April 11th. The final schedule will be released on May 17th.

The previous event, Awesome Games Done Quick 2021, raised over £2.75 million for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. Featured games included various Mario, Zelda, and Pokémon games, along with the likes of Donkey Kong Country, Metroid: Zero Mission, and Pikmin 2, among others. Each speedrun is available to watch on Games Done Quick’s lengthy YouTube playlist.
