When the time was nigh for Dodo Airline planes to embark on personal tropical paradises, Nintendo was hyping up Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ impending release with Nook Tails. These short comic strips featuring Timmy, Tommy, and of course Tom Nook were small skits that poked fun at the daily lives of the iconic Animal Crossing business tycoon family. To celebrate one year since New Horizons’ release, Japanese artist and writer Cho Hanayo has once again returned to the series for a new installment!

As can be seen above from the official Animal Crossing Twitter page hosted by Isabelle, the latest Nook Tails comic focuses on Tom Nook awarding his apprentices — who he clearly can tell apart — with special certificates for their hard efforts. It may be difficult to run a business, but it never hurts to learn some names. If more Nook Tails installments are released on the Animal Crossing Twitter page in the future we will be sure to let you all know!
