Over this past weekend on Saturday, March 13th, The Pokémon Company’s artistic manhole phenomenon made landfall in its next location. As the Poké Lids continue to make their way across the country of Japan, the Aomori Prefecture has finally received two covers for the first time. Have a look below at the latest lids now available for trainers to pass in Hachinohe City and Hashikami Town that are appropriately placed near the area’s beachside!

As goes the usual with Poké Lids, the manhole covers seen above will double down as tourist attractions and Poké Stops for active Pokémon GO Trainers. The available Pokémon depicted in the covers, Wingull, Geodude, Pincurchin, Snom, and Pyukumuku, will also rapidly spawn in-game at their dedicated Poké Lid locations (when they’re made available in-game). With these latest two additions, the total Poké Lid count has now increased to 154 individual locations across 14 Prefectures. When more new Poké Lids are installed we will be sure to let you all know!
