In what is sure to be my most anticipated new game release this year so far, developer Tribute Games and publisher DotEmu are teaming up with Nickelodeon to release the retro-styled beat ‘em up Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge.

The game features four-player multiplayer, a new story mode, and retro style graphics along with new gameplay mechanics. The art style brings back the 80’s cartoon aesthetic, and if the trailer is anything to go by, the music will be just as rocking as the classic Turtles in Time.

The dev team previously worked on Mercenary Kings and Panzer Paladin.

No release date or console platforms have been announced aside from confirmation that it is coming to consoles, but it’s pretty safe to assume it will come to Switch, as DotEmu’s other projects, such as Streets of Rage 4, have all come to the eShop.
