Trying to track any Dragon Ball power levels is a Twitter war waiting to happen. One of the only safe bets is that Goku is going to climb himself up to the top by exponentially shattering his previous limits, unlocking a new form, and then have that minimized by some new threat or force. C’est la vie.

Even with that kind of cyclical nature of the series, it’s all about how those power ups are portrayed. For all it did wrong (or just plain weird) Dragon Ball GT managed to give us one of the most powerful and most conceited renditions of its main character(s), and it was all the more awesome for it.

Hence, Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta enters the Dragon Ball FighterZ ring. Early reports based on a streamed demonstration show him to be busted in terms of damage output, and those animations exude the smugness the character put forth. Even some of his goofier aspects are working their way in (spot the party popper at the 0:49 second mark), but it’s his space-shattering face off with his canonical version that really puts things in perspective.

Gogeta (SS4) will bring his ridiculous power to Dragon Ball FighterZ on March 12th, the final addition in the game’s third DLC season.
