During today’s Nintendo Direct, Square-Enix revealed a remaster of a beloved JRPG that hasn’t seen the light of day in twenty years! Released in Japan back in 1999, Legend of Mana features a unique exploration system in which the hero of the game can recreate the world using artifacts which change what locatiations can be explored, what dungeons will appear, and even how the story will progress.

This souped up version of the classic role-playing game will feature enhanced visuals, an updated soundtrack with new arrangements that can be toggled on and off, quality of life improvements, and an all-new minigame!

Legend of Mana will release for Nintendo Switch on June 24th, and is available to wishlist now on the Switch eShop.
