Two gothic video games are crossing over in a matter of days, with Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night’s heroine Miriam landing in a new mission as part of Blasphemous’ upcoming ‘Strife and Ruin’ update later this week.
Miriam will be seeking help from The Penitent One to return to her own world, which means plenty of new platforming challenges. Upon completion you’ll get a “special reward.”
Also new in the Strife and Ruin update are a Boss Rush mode for high-score chasers and the Demake Area that takes Blasphemous back in time. Its associated video filters can be applied to the rest of the game, too.
You’ll be able to download the update from February 18th.
