Last year some of the biggest publishers of fighting games in the world gathered together for a video presentation. This seemingly took the place of what would have been announced at events and tournaments (such as Evo 2020) canceled due to global health concerns.
With no sign of in-person competition returning, the Japan Fighting Game Publishers Roundtable is coming back for a second episode.
The Japan Fighting Game Publisher Roundtable is back!
We'll have Arc System Works, Arika, SNK, Capcom, our very own Katsuhiro Harada & Naoya Yasuda (Esports Producer) to talk about the FGC & esports news!

The last sit down took the form of a Q&A session followed by publisher-specific announcements. Many were just for sales or ongoing development details, but a few character reveals did make their way in from Bandai Namco and Arc System Works. They’re returning, along with SNK, Capcom, and Arika.
Keep in mind many of the marquee titles when it comes to fighting games sadly aren’t on Switch, so unless you’re more of a genre-wide fan this might not be for you. That said, you can bet we’ll be watching and will have any relevant details right here on Nintendo Wire after the broadcast.
The second Japan Fighting Game Publishers Roundtable will air on February 20th at 9 p.m. PT on Twitch.
