After bringing Sonic the Hedgehog in to talk about Mean Beans, Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 has just hard dropped its second free DLC update. Just like clockwork, four characters have been added, along with new modes, options, and more.
This time around Serilly, Rafisol, Possessed Klug, and ghostly duo Yu & Rei have joined the roster. It looks like there’s room for four more on the character select screen, so look forward to those slots hopefully being filled!
Also added this time is the ability to play the game’s six Challenge modes (such as Endless Puyo, or clearing lines in Tetris as fast as possible) in local and online multiplayer. Previously these were single player only affairs, but can now be enjoyed with friends near and far.
Along with these is the return of Puyo Puyo Champions’ multiple colorblind filters, making the game more accessible and adjustable. Three new BGM songs and twenty fresh profile icons round out the new content nicely.
