In the Switch’s lifetime Nintendo has been pretty darn good at localizing its titles and bringing them to the wider world. That makes anything that does remain Japan-only all the more noteworthy. That’s exactly the position Buddy Mission BOND finds itself in – a new adventure game/visual novel from Koei Tecmo and Nintendo that’s yet to be confirmed for an English release.

Featuring character designs from Yusuke Murata, the artist of One-Punch Man and Eyeshield 21, it’s an eye catching game for sure. Players will set up a pair of partners to both investigate and infiltrate criminal activity, with the events changing based on what they’re able to uncover and who they’ve chosen for each job. It’s a bit tough to grasp just as words, but enjoy the below overview trailer to see it all unfold:

While there’s no word on any sort of English release or support, with a Japanese eShop account anyone should be able to pick up the game or its free demo today.
