Poor Sir Arthur just can’t catch a break. He’s taken part in a few crossovers in recent memory, but the guy was practically retired. A knight’s journey is never over though, as this latest trailer shows what’s new in Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection.

While new weapons (and old reliables) are always welcome, it’s in the magic department that Arthur’s really improved. Various spells will give you new ways to fight off hordes of undead and unseemly foes. Even on the lowly Squire difficulty, you’ll need them if you ever want to become a Legend.

Something known as “a world of shadows” is also shown, perhaps implying the series standard of making you play through it all again is coming back.

The gauntlet has been cast! Look forward to (or be terrified of) more Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection as we head towards its February 25th release.
