Do you know what the Nintendo eShop needs? More pirate content – not pirate-like illegal, but pirate-like, “Arr matey! Me wooden leg be havin’ termites and me wife left me for a merman!” Thankfully, 3DClouds’ procedurally generated pirate ship action-RPG King of Seas is fixing that pirate’s life need and it’s on the horizon!

The game was announced for the Switch last year, and thanks to a new trailer, we now know just when this pirate adventure will be docking on Switch! Not docking like in a Switch dock, but docking like a ship in a port — you know what I mean.

The swashbuckling adventure puts you in the salty boots of the King of Seas’ child on a mission to solve your father’s mysterious murder. The game features procedurally generated seas, goods to shuttle from island to island, upgrades for your vessel, and tons of other ships to plunder for booty! … Booty like treasure. Get your mind off the poop deck.

You can set sail as a cunning pirate in a quest for riches and retribution for $24.99 starting on Thursday, February 18th!
