When it comes to Indie World Showcases, typically there are bound to be one or two titles that don’t appear in specific regional presentations. While it didn’t make its way into the North American event yesterday, Japan received an update on Tuesday for thatgamecompany’s upcoming Nintendo Switch port of Sky: Children of the Light. The publisher announced that the title has been delayed and is now set to release in Spring 2021.

Sky: Children of the Light is a role-playing title released in 2018 on mobile platforms from the creators behind the PlayStation hit Journey. As you explore seven unique realms across the world of Sky, you will soar through the air to discover a curious mystery while returning stars to their constellations and creating new friendships.

When Sky: Children of the Light receives its next development update from thatgamecompany, we will be sure to let you all know. In the meantime, while you are waiting you can check out the game’s new eShop page!
