Remember how cool it was to get a Nintendo Power in the mail? If you’re old enough to remember them, like myself, video game magazines were a big part of the 90’s and 00’s. Now, if you’re looking to reignite that feeling of reading through an old gaming magazine, the Video Game History Foundation has you covered.

That’s right: for $20, you can purchase a one magazine from a “blind box” of vintage video game magazines. Or, if you’re feeling really cool and need that extra nostalgia, you can subscribe to have one mailed to you monthly, like the good ‘ole days.

While $20 may seem like a lot for something that you could find on thrift store shelves for $2, the Video Game History Foundation has said that all proceeds will go towards their charity, helping to “turn our collection into a public resource.” So really for all involved, it’s a win-win.

The magazines will start shipping in January, and if you subscribe you save $5 every month.

Oh and if you’re wondering, yes, Nintendo Power #1 (with poster!) is included in the box pulls.

If you end up buying any we’d love to see what you get in the mail, so feel free to share with us on Twitter when they arrive!
