Dead Cells may have come out in 2018, but developers Motion Twin haven’t stopped creating — they’ve been busy with a whopping 21 updates. That number will soon bump up by one when the just-announced Fatal Falls DLC is released.

In a press release, Motion Twin details the new DLC pack, which is the game’s second paid DLC. The update will add two “entirely new biomes, The Fractured Shrines and The Undying Shores, as well as a new boss are [sic] parallels to the ‘Stilt Village’, ‘Clock Tower’ and ‘Time Keeper’ areas and their alternate paths.” The developers intended to give players more options in the middle of the run. The update will also add new weapons.

The press release also reveals that the game has sold over 3.5 million copies across all platforms. We at Nintendo Wire were big fans of the game, awarding it a 9.5 in our review, so be sure to check it out!
