Voice clips for four additional characters not playable in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity have been discovered through a datamine of the game.

Gaming Reinvented published voice clips in which playable characters like Zelda, Maz Koshia, and Daruk can be heard calling out to characters Purah, Robbie, Sooga, and Astor.

Other voice clips belonging to Purah and Robbie — in which they call out to Sidon, Yunobo, Hestu, and Maz Koshia — were also found.

These voice clips resemble those currently in the game; when a player cycles through playable characters on the battlefield, their character will call out to the one being switched to.

The datamined voice files don’t indicate whether they belong to characters cut during development or perhaps future characters coming in some sort of downloadable content, although source Gaming Reinvented speculates these clips indicate that DLC is on its way.

You can listen to the full set of datamined voice files through Gaming Reinvented’s MEGA upload.

What’re your thoughts? Is this just a case of leftover content cut from the game, or could we be seeing character DLC headed to Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity? Let us know in the comments!
