On the heels of NEO: The World Ends With You’s announcement trailer, we’ve got one more something for you. TWEWY Character Designer (and Kingdom Hearts maestro) Tetsuya Nomura has shared a sketch of new lead Rindo alongside previous protagonist Neku.

This isn’t the first time in recent memory that Nomura has drawn Neku, as he and the rest of the original game’s cast joined with Sora to mark The World Ends With You: Final Remix’s release. As for Rindo, Nomura notes that when he designed the character he had no idea face masks would become so prevalent in 2020. It’s possible in Rindo’s case to be used similarly to Neku’s trademark headphones – as a way to shut himself off from the world around him.
NEO: The World Ends With You will start its Game on Switch and PS4 in Summer 2021.
