The artistic beauty that is Ōkami from Capcom’s shuttered Clover Studio will be turning 15 next year, but Capcom has decided to celebrate a bit earlier with its 14th birthday. The company will be launching a brand new line of merchandise for the series featuring nine items that can already be pre-purchased overseas. Have a look below at the entire lineup of products including plushies, bags, and more hitting retail and digital Capcom shelves in Japan!
Those extremely familiar with Ōkami might be questioning as to where some of the new art depicted in the products above came from. While sadly no sequel to the original title has been announced, your eyes do not deceive you as Amaterasu and company have been redrawn. Ōkami artists Kenichiro Yoshimura and Mari Shimazaki returned to provide new illustrations for the latest anniversary merchandise!
The most expensive item from the whole set is a specialized purse for men and women priced at ¥25,000 (about $240.88). For those who aren’t looking to break the bank, there’s a compact mirror featuring Amaterasu for ¥1,000 (about $9.64), shirts priced at ¥3,800 (around $36.61), and tote bags for ¥3,000 (about $28.91). There are also Sakoshi tanning bags available at ¥4,800 (about $46.25) and the Hasami crafted plate that will set you back ¥10,000 (about $96.35). The fluffiest and cutest items are the Amaterasu plushies! Available in two different sizes, they can be yours to hug for ¥1,600 or ¥7,100 (about $15.42 and $68.41).
