Look, I’ll watch puzzle games any time but if it can benefit those in need then all the better. Sega has announced that next week they will be hosting a 24-hour stream as part of this year’s Extra Life charity event, and headlining will be none other than the upcoming Puyo Puyo Tetris 2.

It won’t be the only game played, but it will be the first. Per press materials it sounds like this will also be the debut of the Playstation 5 version of Puyo Puyo Tetris 2, with all the different features of the game getting some attention before a friendly tournament featuring “some special guests”.

After Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 wraps, many more Sega games old and new will be streamed. Viewers are encouraged to donate to benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Even if you’re not so into Sega or Puyo Puyo, many other coordinated streams will be happening all for a good cause. Sega will specifically be donating to CHOC – Children’s Hospital of Orange County, near their Irvine, California headquarters.

You can check out Team Sega on their Extra Life page, and look forward to some head to head puzzle action (and more, and charity, and goodwill towards others) on November 14th, starting at 9 am PT.
