Ahead of its initially announced release date, Death Crown has had to delay its battles and coronations on Nintendo Switch into 2021. Badland Publishing made the announcement today and issued the following statement in a press release:

We know you were crazy to play the frantic real-time strategy title created by CO5MONAUT and Stas Pisarev, but we are sorry to announce that the title will be delayed until early 2021.

Due to various reasons, we have decided to postpone the release of Death Crown until February 11th, 2021.

We hope you’ll understand this decision and that you’ll continue to look forward to Death Crown as much as we do.

Yes, yet another game delayed to 2021. That seems to be the pattern for game development and publishing in 2020. With how fast this year has seemed to speed by, a three-month delay to fine-tune and polish a Nintendo Switch port with a customized control system won’t be too long of a wait.
