With the PlayStation 5’s release just around the corner, it’s natural that the controllers for the new system, dubbed the DualSense, have started to appear out in the world. Recently, Twitter user BrokenGamezHDR_ got his hands on a DualSense controller and, with the PS5 a little more than a week away, they decided to put it to the test with their Nintendo Switch instead, showing that Sony’s new controller works on the Switch.

In the demonstration, embedded below, BrokenGamexzHDR_ demonstrates the controller working on the menu for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, as well as the Switch home menu itself.

It should be noted that this was made possible with an adapter from 8BitDo, and the DualSense does not connect to the Switch natively.
