Ugh, cloud streaming, and on Switch no less, not a fan. I had completely forgotten about the cloud versions of RE7 and AC Odyssey, and then this and Hitman 3 (along with the datamining of a RE3 remake cloud version) reminded me. Sadly I wouldn’t be surprised at all if these cloud versions of more graphically intensive 3rd-party titles became a common fixture for the sake of making sure the Switch continually gets AAA third party support going into next gen. No offense to Nintendo but I don’t believe for a second that the rumored Switch Pro or whatever it will be called will do much (if anything) to actually bring the console up to the level where it can handle PS5 and Xbox Series X titles.

I love Nintendo but in terms of horsepower and cutting edge tech in gaming systems, they will be behind Sony and Microsoft as always as they stands by their beliefs, philosophy, etc. all those things Nintendo have explained before, and I don’t think that will ever change unless something radical were to suddenly happen to the company.

In anycase, good thing I already have Control on PS4.
