Following last month’s reveal of Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, a CG-animated series based within the official canon of Capcom’s beloved horror franchise, Netflix has now released two new screenshots featuring the show’s protagonists.
The images show series veterans, Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, both looking pretty serious. Leon appears to be rocking his leather-clad look from Resident Evil 6 while Claire has her red jacket from Revelations 2, which could be a hint that Infinite Darkness may take place circa 2012 or later.

Infinite Darkness is not to be confused with another Netflix-produced Resident Evil TV series currently in the works, a live-action affair starring the daughters of Albert Wesker. Outside of the Netflix projects, there is also an upcoming Resident Evil film reboot, which was recently confirmed to take place in Raccoon City with a very strong cast lineup.
