It’s time to venture into more frigid climates in Galar and encounter Pokémon both old and new! The awaited Crown Tundra update, part of the Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass, has now arrived. Anyone who has purchased the Expansion Pass can head to a new, far off area of Galar and explore all it has to offer.

Plenty of legendaries, new possibilities for Max Raids, and some tough competition in the Galarian Star Tournament are now available for trainers. If you were holding off on the Expansion Pass until now you also have the Isle of Armor to explore, as well as new clothing items and other features to dive into that come with the Expansion Pass.
You’ll also want to update Pokémon Home, for Switch and mobile devices, which should now allow players to transfer over any Pokémon now included in the Galar Dex thanks to their presence in the Crown Tundra.
