The Drawn to Life series was one of the most unique uses of the DS’s strengths, letting the player doodle up various game elements in a side-scrolling platformer. Unfortunately only three games were ever released – the original, a licensed Spongebob spin-off, and a sequel to the original which also hit the Wii – and, outside of an iOS port of the first game back in 2014, the IP has been dormant ever since 2009.

Until now, it seems. As spotted by Gematsu, an unannounced game called Drawn to Life: Two Realms has been spotted on the official Taiwanese Game Rating website, complete with box-art.

Even though the game is on the dockable Switch, it is still described as being a game where you draw your “own character, weapons and accessories, platforms, and objects.” The publisher is listed as 505 Games, the same studio that brought us the aforementioned iOS port, but it’s unclear if the original studio 5th Cell will be on development duties.

We’ll be sure to bring you an official announcement as and when it’s made.
