Players have no doubt been tearing up every stage they can with Minecraft Steve, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s latest fighter. While his block placing and resource gathering gameplay are his most defining traits, he (like many others before him) brings multiple tools and weapons with him into every match. Sword, pick, axe, and shovel all play a role in his moveset; now they’re playing a role in defining the game’s next online tournament event.

As the featured image shows, the tourney is all about well crafted weapons and tools. It’s a pretty loose definition, all things considered. Ness’ yo-yo, K. Rool’s blunderbus, a Belmont’s axe, Villager’s net – they and more are all fair game in Smash.
So grab a fire hydrant and kick your can online starting October 23rd to take part throughout the weekend and show you’re the most well equipped contender among the rest!
