Way back in 2012, the fighting game Phantom Breaker was scheduled to launch in North America for the Xbox 360, but it was cancelled. We did get the side-scrolling beat’em up Phantom Breaker: Battlegrounds, but never the fighter. Now, after almost a decade, the game is finally hitting western shores thanks to Rocket Panda Games.

Phantom Breaker: Omnia is technically the third iteration of the fighting game, featuring all of the past content including cameos from developer Mages’ visual novels – Rimi from Chaos;Head and Kurisu from Steins;Gate. Better yet the entire game is dubbed, with even Kurisu’s Steins;Gate anime dub voice actress making the leap over.

You’ll be able to play Phantom Breaker: Omnia on Switch in 2021.
