Ahead of its Friday, October 16th opening, Universal Studios Japan has invited members of the press to tour, experience, and report on Super Nintendo World’s Mario Café & Store area of the park. While the main area of Super Nintendo World isn’t opening to the public until 2021, this eatery and shop will be available to all park guests for the time being. Nintendo and Universal Studios shared mock-ups of the venues earlier this month, but now thanks to a press event, we can see what these places look like beyond 3D renderings.

We’ll continue to add more photos that we find online. Until then, be amazed at the pictures… except for the Super Mushroom drink cup. Adorable in theory, yet absolutely horrifying once you remove the mushroom cap.
