During Nintendo’s October 7th Treehouse Live event, Pikmin 3 Deluxe was put in the spotlight with multiple modes and plenty of gameplay shown off. Towards the end of Pikmin 3 Deluxe’s presentation, though, it was announced that Nintendo Switch owners can get a taste of the game themselves later today via a free demo!

A Pikmin 3 Deluxe demo will release later this evening, and players will be able to transfer their save data to the full version of the game.
If you complete the demo, you’ll be given immediate access to the “Ultra-Spicy” difficulty mode and “other perks” when the full game comes out.
This’ll be great for any Pikmin veterans who’ve already been through 3 or those that want to put their leadership to the test when Pikmin 3 Deluxe launches for Nintendo Switch on October 30th.
