Sending your opponents flying is at the core of Smash’s design, making fighters’ weights extra important. Maybe you’re high speed or have great aerial options but that can come at a cost – a cost that Ultimate’s next online tourney event is embracing.

It’s all about the lightweights of Super Smash Bros. this time! No hefty kings allowed here, just characters that are easy to launch. The least light of the displayed characters is Zero Suit Samus, meaning Fox, Jigglypuff, and potentially Squirtle are all fair game. Past that there’s no knowing where the cut off can be, but expect to see ’em all go flying.
The lightweight Smash Ultimate online tournament event will be live through this weekend starting October 2nd.
